Baritone Jonathan Eyers with Hannah-Elizabeth Teoh: Neitzsche and 'Friends'

Philosophical titan Friedrich Nietzsche put forth an abundance of well-known prose and poetry. A passionate lover of music, he also composed. This unique concert exploring Nietzsche’s fascinating though seldom heard lieder, brought to life by baritone Jonathan Eyers and pianist Hannah-Elizabeth Teoh, will feature a specially commissioned work by the Kettner Society’s composer-in-residence Daniel Lee Chappell alongside other compositions inspired by Nietzsche's writings, and elucidation by guest speaker Dr Nicholas Martin, Reader in European Intellectual History at Birmingham University.
